Approximately 50 therapists attended the pre-conference track which was well received. The goal was to provide lecture needed to fulfill NPS certification requirements. Another first at the Shore Conference was afternoon sessions presented by educators and their students. The County College of Morris faculty and student duo presented Body Language and Career Success, while Long Island University (pictured right) presented Peri-Operative Respiratory Care Following LVAD Implantation and Heart Transplantation.
The exhibit hall opened that evening with forty-six exhibitors displayed their newest technology. Attendees were treated to an array of food and drink while interacting with the exhibitors. The exhibit hall is always an opportunity for therapists around the state to share best practice with the vendors and their peers.
As the exhibit call closed, the evening’s festivities did not come to an end. Attendees and their guests, along with the vendors, enjoyed desserts and drinks while dancing the night away during a private party at the Boogie Nights Disco Club.
