It is with great pleasure the IASRC President announced HSB 138 is DEAD! The IASRC President attended the subcommittee meeting February 28, and the committee chair ripped the bill up in his closing message.
The IASRC President thanks everyone for spreading the word so quickly getting and recruiting large numbers of people to communicate opposition of the bill.
They had outstanding guidance and support from the AARC and Matt Eide and his lobbying team. The IASRC passes along their gratitude to peers, students, instructors, managers, staff RTs, patients and other members of health care team for supporting licensure of respiratory therapists resulting in an end to this bill as introduced last week.
