The 2nd annual Northern Region Conference and Dinner was held June 22 at Portofino Restaurant in Morris County. Over 70 attendees enjoyed an afternoon learning about relevant topics and interacting with the 8 vendors who helped to sponsor the conference. The event was hosted by the Northern Region Director, Ed Peters.
This year, four speakers shared their insights on a variety of subjects. Deborah Goss, MD provided the mandatory ethics CRCE with a lecture titled “When to take a breath and call the Bioethicist” which kicked off the afternoon. This was followed by Beth Richey, RRT speaking on “NIV: Right Therapy for the Right Patient” and concluded with Lisa Landry, RRT, CTTS and Joan Corasaniti, MSN, RN, CEN, CTTS and “The RT & RN: A collaborative approach to COPD best practices.”
It was a great evening filled with education, networking, catching up with colleagues, and good food! If you could not make this year’s event, we look forward to seeing you next year!
