In past editions of eScope, we featured a clinical study completed by our colleagues at Jersey Shore Medical Center, reports from our delegates, praise of fellow RTs, RC Week activities, and information to make us better Respiratory Therapists. As a society, we all have a shared interest in the successes and progress of our profession. The NJSRC proudly publishes anything promoting pride in the workplace.
In this, the last eScope of 2016, I would personally like to thank those within the membership who contributed to our newsletter this year. It can be challenging to provide timely information on a continual basis with limited resources. However, based on the recent survey, our society not only values frequent communication, but many of you would like to hear from us even more often.
Because of the contributions of the below individuals, it allowed me to provide more diverse and relevant information to our society.
- Ken Capek: When Disaster Strikes and Speaking to a Smoker
- Joseph Goss and Daryl Rogers: House of Delegates Reports
- David Orloff, et al.: Case Study Comparing Traditional Lung Expansion Therapy to the MetaNeb® System
- Megan Hennessy: How we Celebrated Respiratory Care Week
If you would like to share successes of your department, want to share best practices, or have a colleague you would like to submit for “Spotlight on NJSRC Membership” contact me.
Thank You!
Happiest of Holidays from all of us at the NJSRC!
– Jill Guide, RRT Public Relations and Communications Chairperson
