The New Jersey Society for Respiratory Care recently participated in a Washington, DC Fly-In, providing an opportunity to represent the respiratory care profession and engage in advocacy efforts in the nation's capital.
NJSRC representatives Robert Guardabasco and Erin Sullivan met with policymakers to help elevate the voice of respiratory care professionals and advocate for issues impacting the profession and the patients they serve.
The Washington, DC Fly-In provides respiratory care leaders with an opportunity to engage directly with elected officials, share the value of the respiratory therapy profession, and discuss priorities affecting patient care and the future of healthcare.
NJSRC appreciates the dedication of members who volunteer their time to represent the profession and strengthen the voice of respiratory therapists through advocacy and public service.
